One more goal for the end of the year.

Upon reviewing my personal timeline, I discovered that I've developed seventeen websites this year. My goal here is to do three more before the end of the year, to hit the big twenty. Based on my to-do list right now, that shouldn't be a problem.

Now, as for finishing my novel before I hit 26... That's going to be more of a problem.

I read something the other day that said that Agatha Christie didn't publish her first novel until 29, and she remains the most translated author in history, not to mention prolific. Every time I think I've read every Hercule Poirot novel, I find another one---and that's just one of her series!

I read her autobiography 10 years back, and in it she states she wrote her first mystery essentially on a dare. She didn't think she was smart enough to do it (her older sister was the brilliant one, so she says), and neither did anyone else. So she did it on a whim, and then there was no stopping her.

So, even if the old Dame AC isn't your style, it's good to know that 26 is ahead of the game, especially since you already know that you can write well.

Cool story, Kori -- thanks!

Must... Get with the program... Must... Write more stuff...
