Quickie.

I just made an early New Year's resolution: to stop using the word 'rocks' in this weblog.

It' about damn time!

Happy Holidays :-)

I place 100% of the blame on Vonderheid and that "rocks the block" silliness.

Dude, that resolution rocks!

You rock my world, Geoff.

I've been trying for ages to excise the word "like" from my slang vocabulary. I've cut back enormously from when I was a teenager, but I'm afraid it's one of those things that's never going to completely leave, and will always define me verbally as a product of my generation. Like "awesome", or "cool". How often do our parents say "cool" and not sound awkward?

On the other hand, my dad frequently says things are "snazzy", so I suppose it could be worse.
