The original is full of rich, vibrant colors, but I wanted to keep mine largely grayscale with only a few accent colors to make them really pop – the green of the absinthe, of course, but also the sky blue of the hope in her eyes – and to drive home the cool, chilly, metallic tone of her artificial existence. La belle epoxy, if you will.)
