Untyped

The challenge

Untyped is a small, collaborative collective of artists and programmers based (mostly) out of the UK. When I was asked to come on board, the first project I was thrown was the group's own website. They wanted something cool, irreverent and personal, and most of all, they wanted it now.

The solution

The entirety of Untyped.com was created in 48 hours. While the rest of the troupe wrote the content, I was designing each page – including nine hand-drawn "virtual offices". Each virtual office is a pen-and-ink drawing coupled with some photographic elements blended in using Photoshop. The result was both quirky and charming – precisely what we were going for.

The tools

The Untyped corporate site was built using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Adobe Photoshop.
